Artist, Joseph S. Venus has studied and researched mammals and people of the Pleistocene time period, 10,000 to 15,000 years ago. Standing on it's hind legs this giant was about 12' tall and weighed approximately 800 lbs. His large claws helped him strip off leaves from the trees. The Skeleton of this giant can be seen at the CEU Prehistoric Museum across from the mural. |
