This magnificent petroglyph which has been featured in National Geographic magazine, is near the small town of Ferron, Utah. The painting on the front of this card is on permanent display at the Museum of the San Rafael in Castle Dale, Utah. The ancient
artisans created anthropomorphic figures and beasts of their spirit world
integrated in a complex composition familiar to that primitive culture.
This panel is being studied for possible solstice or equinox connections. |
