Artist, Joseph S. Venus, has studied and researched mammals and people of the Pleistocene time period, 10,000 to 15,000 years ago. Mammoths and Mastodons were hunted by Ice Age American Hunters called Clovis Indians. The long leaf shaped hunting spear points were made by the Clovis Culture. A sample of this spear is on display at the college of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum in Price, Utah. |
